These collaborations were designed to upgrade their graphics as well as their input controls, and to give developers the opportunity to run their applications in a public preview.

For the LG Gram 14 (11th generation Intel Core i7, 16 GB RAM), Amazon’s engineers reviewed several apps, such as Clockmaker and War of the Visions Subway, which all ran smoothly.
Using the mouse for scrolling games like Subway Surfers is not very intuitive, but it can work. We also noticed some oddities, such as resizing the window in some apps requiring a reload, and sometimes the bottom of the screen would be cut off.
In addition, the app would hang when opening other Android apps during installation and the system would slow down after using some Android apps.
This was especially noticeable in resource-intensive games such as Mobile Strike and King of Avalon. Dragon Quest noted that the problem was resolved after restarting the computer. Overall, the apps worked well and the occasional game did not affect the performance of other activities on Windows 11.
Android apps can run on any computer running Windows 11. However, before downloading Android apps, make sure you are running the latest version of Windows 11.
Use the following steps to run and download Android applications on Windows 11.
- Access your Microsoft Store via the Start menu.
- From the Microsoft Store search bar, type “Amazon Appstore”.
- Install Amazone Appstore software on your Windows 11 device.
- The application will ask you for permission to make changes, which you should accept. You will also need to restart your computer, but you can do that later.
- After the restart, the Windows subsystem for Android will be installed.
- After the installation is complete, you will be asked to sign in to your Amazon account.
- After logging in, the Amazon App Store opens.
- To install any of the Android apps from the Amazon Appstore, simply click the “Get” button.
- You can also open the Amazon Appstore, click on the name and you will find the app under the “My Apps” tab.
You will find settings for in-app purchases, parental controls, and app updates in the Amazon Appstore under “Settings”.
